ATLANTA—Peak Campus Management has landed significant contracts to manage student housing properties in Los Angeles and Baton Rouge, LA. With these new assignments, the locally based company adds nearly 4,000 beds to its 26,000-bed portfolio.
In Los Angeles, Peak Campus will manage the Lorenzo apartments, which will serve students attending the University of Southern California. Currently under way, the community will ultimately have 6,348 beds in 913 units. The first phase will deliver nearly 2,000 beds next summer and the balance will debut in the summer of 2014. Privately owned and managed by G.H. Palmer Associates, the property is part of the luxury Renaissance collection.
The property, says Peak Campus president Bob Clark, “is an exciting addition to our portfolio of top-tier student housing communities.”
Located less than a mile from the USC campus and adjacent to the Expo Line transit system, the project will include amenities including four resort pools with cabanas; three heated Jacuzzis; a three-story fitness center with a climbing wall, running track and cardio room; five roof-top sun decks with Downtown views; two indoor basketball courts topped by an elevated jogging track; a pro-style sand volleyball court; a virtual gaming and arcade room; theater room with stadium seating and karaoke system; five libraries with computers and study rooms; an outdoor amphitheater and athletic field; caf
