ORLANDO—Jones Lang LaSalle is making a big move in Florida retail, adding three heavy hitters to its ranks. JLL hired Sean McConnell as senior vice president and tenant representation lead in Florida, along with vice presidents Dan Moriarty and Scott Sheron.

“In the past, Jones Lang LaSalle focused solely on leasing and managing traditional malls,” McConnell tells GlobeSt.com. “Now more and more owners and retailers are asking us to provide broader and more locally based resources.”

McConnell comes to JLL from CBRE, where he was first vice president, and previously worked at Trammell Crow. CBRE could not immediately be reached for comment. McConnell has represented the likes of Darden, RaceTrac Petroleum, NBC Universal, and Fifth Third Bank, closing retail transactions valued at more than $250 million. He will be based in the firm’s Orlando office.
