FORT LEE, NJ-James Campbell Co. has tapped Cushman & Wakefield to lease and manage 2200 Fletcher Ave., a 215,000-square-foot office building here that it acquired in 2008. The seven-story building near the George Washington Bridge is currently undergoing renovation.
"Major upgrades to the building are currently underway, and more improvements will be made going forward," says Richard Baumstein, a member of the East Rutherford-based C&W team handling the assignment. Marc Graham and Christian Politan will also work on the leasing assignment, with management of the property to be overseen by Eileen Carey and Bob Stark.
"This building offers the best access and egress of any class A office building in Fort Lee," he adds. "We are seeing considerable interest in the remaining space and anticipate making some announcements shortly."
Completed in 1988, 2200 Fletcher is situated on five acres close by the bridge, and four major roadways: I-80, I-95, Palisades Interstate Parkway and Route 9W.
Current tenants at the building include Merrill Lynch, Telemundo and MetLife. Remaining available space can be configured in a range of sizes, from 3,000 to 30,000 square feet, according to Baumstein.
