(Save the date: RealShare New York comes to the Grand Hyatt, New York, NY, October 9.)

NEW YORK CITY-Massey Knakal recently sold an institutional building in Queens here. Located at 199-12 112th Avenue, the building sold for nearly $7 million. The most recent tenants was the New Charter Academy school, although the seller was the Police Athletic League who once occupied space there.

The building in question is in the St. Albans neighborhood of the borough. It is three stories high and covers 52,300 square feet. The property was purchased by the New York City’s School Construction Authority who, according to a Massey Knakal release, plan to use the building for a school once again.

IN the same statement, company chairman Bob Knakal said, ““The property was a perfect fit for the NYC School Construction Authority, which plans to use the building as a public school. This use will greatly benefit the community of Saint Albans.”
