DENVER-BMC Investments has purchased a land parcel on the southeast corner of Steele Street and East First Avenue in Cherry Creek with plans to develop an $80-million, 12-story apartment complex there. The Denver-based company paid $15.75 million for the 1-acre parcel.

The proposed plans call for 250 residential units and a 16,000-square-foot ground-floor retail space. The complex will have a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. BMC still have to submit site plans for the project to the City of Denver. For the full story, go to Denver Business Journal .
