TEANECK, NJ–The shopper research company Perception Research Services International has taken 44,000 square feet at Glenpointe Centre here, moving from Fort Lee in a relocation arranged by Cushman & Wakefield.
Curtis Foster of Cushman & Wakefield’s East Rutherford office represented the company, and Richard Baumstein, Marc Graham and Christian Politan, also of CW, represented property owner Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. C&W is the exclusive leasing agent for Glenpointe Centre.
Perception Research Services conducts about 800 packaging and shopper research studies each year for global marketers such as Kraft Foods, HP and Walmart, among many others. Now in its 40th year of business, the privately-held firm is among the top 25 research companies in the world in revenues. It has about 200 employees and maintains regional offices in London, Geneva, Rome, Mexico City and Singapore.
Scott Young, president of the research company says, “These new offices will provide us with the additional space that we need to manage our growth. And more importantly, they represent a real ‘trade up’ in work environment and amenities for our people, which is very important to PRS. Overall, it is a great way to mark our 40th year and help ensure our continued success."
Foster says he has worked with PRS for more than 25 years. “This location fulfills all of PRS’ requirements and provides them with the prestige they sought in this specific submarket,” he said
Glenpointe offers interconnected amenities under one roof, including a health spa and fitness center, and a 350-room Marriott hotel and conference center, which recently began a $14 million renovation. The property sits at the intersection of interstates 80 and 95, near routes 4 and 46, and less than three miles from the George Washington Bridge.
“PRS was in search of a new corporate headquarters, and the timing and square footage we could offer was a perfect match for their current, and future, needs. We are pleased to be part of the company’s growth strategy moving forward,” says Jerry L. Barta, director of leasing and marketing for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.
Glenpointe has approvals to build a new 230,000-square-foot building with visibility and signage rights along I-95. The CW team currently is marketing units from 1,000 to the full 230,000 square feet at Glenpointe South.
