SHANGHAI-Though it won’t be completed until 2015, the Shanghai Tower is already lining up the key elements to ensure it operates successfully. As such, it was announced today that CBRE has been selected by the Shanghai Tower Construction & Development Co to provide property management consultancy services for the completed tower.
The edifice will further define the city’s skyline, stretching up to an impressive 2,073 feet. It is located in the Lujiazui district and will be a mixed-use property, covering a total of 6.18 million square feet. At press time, the tower is said to include office space, a luxury hotel, a retail complex, an observation deck, and other entertainment and cultural venues. When the tower has been completed, CBRE will assume property management consultancy responsibilities in relation to the tower.
“We look forward to working with Chairman Kong Qing Wei and his team to establish the highest-caliber services for this world-class asset. Together, we will make Shanghai Tower one of the most desirable corporate and retail destinations in the world,” Brett White, CEO of CBRE, said in a statement from the company.
