SHEFFIELD, UK-Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), which manages the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global, has acquired 50% stake in Meadowhall Shopping Centre for GBP 348 million. The fund bought the stake in the 1.5-million-square-foot shopping center from a joint venture between Green Park Investments and London & Stamford Property.

Meadowhall, which comprises 219 shops, 30 catering units, 53 kiosks and an 11-screen theater, is situated on the border of Sheffield. British Land will operate the retail center for the partnership. For the full story, go to Europe Real Estate .
