AURORA, CO-New York-based Northwood Investors LLC has purchased the Southlands Town Center, an outdoor shopping center in Aurora, from New York-based BlackRock. Industry sources reported that the 900,000-square-foot center, located at 6155 S. Main St., near East Smoky Hill Road and E-470, was sold for $102.5 million.

This was the first acquisition for Northwood Investors in Colorado. Northwood Retail, an affiliate of Northwood Investors, will manage and lease the center, which is anchored by AMC Theaters, Bed Bath & Beyond and Sports Authority. For the full story, go to Denver Business Journal .
