SAN FRANCISCO-Boston Properties executives have said that construction on Transbay Tower, a 1,000-foot skyscraper in San Francisco, is expected start in 2014. The real estate investment trust reported that it had formed a joint venture partnership with Hines to develop the tower spanning 1.4 million square feet at 101 First St.

The partnership is expecting to close on the acquisition of land in Q1 2013 for $190 million. Douglas Linde, president of Boston Properties, said that skyscraper would likely be completed in 2017. For the full story, go to San Francisco Business Times .
