NEW YORK CITY-A crane partially collapsed from the high winds of Hurricane Sandy at the site of One57, the luxury multifamily tower being constructed by Extell Development Corp., the New York Daily News reported. At the present time, the New York City Fire Department blocked off the street with emergency vehicles; no injuries have been reported.
When complete, One57 will be a 90-story mixed use development that will rise over 1,000 feet at 157 W. 57th St., across from Carnegie Hall.
