SACRAMENTO-The former Riverview apartment building at 626 I Street is opening today as Edge Water Apartments after two years of renovation. In 2009, Sacramento's housing authority received a federal stimulus award to renovate a deteriorating public housing scheme for seniors.
The senior housing complex, located at the corner of 7th and I streets, has received a $20-million makeover. The project converted the 108-unit apartment complex for seniors. The contractor was Turner Construction and the architect was Van Tilburg, Banvard & Soderbergh. For the full story, go to Sacramento Business Journal .
