TAMPA, FL-A joint venture partnership that includes an affiliate of North Palm Beach-based Driftwood Hospitality Management LLC, a hotel management company, has reached a contract to purchase the Hyatt Regency Tampa, a 521-room hotel in downtown Tampa. The hotel reached sales block earlier this year.

The joint venture has plans to renovate and rebrand the hotel. A spokeswoman said that the deal is scheduled to be closed later this year. For the full story, go to Tampa Bay Business Journal .
