BOSTON-Iron Mountain settled upon an 11-year lease at One Federal Street here. Tishman Speyer was responsible for signing the company to what will be its corporate headquarters. The information storage and management company will be occupying 129,000 square feet of space on the 6th and 7th floors of the building. The lease begins in July 2013.

“We sought a location that would allow us to keep our corporate headquarters in Boston as well as a building that would enable us to design an environment conducive to employee collaboration and engagement,” said Sarah Abrams, Iron Mountain’s senior vice president of global real estate in a prepared statement. The company was represented by Alexander Dauria of Jones Lang LaSalle in this transaction.

One Federal Street includes 1,118,355 of rentable square feet with a below-grade two-story parking garage. It has 38 stories and is in the prominent financial neighborhood in Boston. The building recently received LEED Gold certification.
