NEW YORK CITY-Royce, a Japanese chocolate company, has leased a 620-square-foot space at 253 Bleecker Street for 12 years. The asking rent for the deal that includes another 400-square-foot basement was $290 per square foot. Sinvin Real Estate's Steve Rappaport and Kristin McCann brokered the lease on behalf both the tenant and the ownership.

The new lease is Royce's second deal in Manhattan where it leased on Madison Avenue for its first US location, which is slated for opening in December 2012. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business .
