MIAMI BEACH-Trans World Entertainment Corp., the Albany-based owner of the FYE chain, has sold a South Beach real estate for $30 million and will pay its cash dividend to shareholders using the funds. The property, occupied by Walgreens, is located at Collins Avenue and Fifth Street.
Trans World purchased the retail property more than five years ago for roughly $8 million. The company will use half of the proceeds to pay a cash dividend and re-invest the remainder into the company. For the full story, go to South Florida Business Journal .
