BALTIMORE-The city's design panel has approved initial plans for a 208-room hotel in Harbor East. Besides guest rooms, the eight-story hotel will have nearly 15,000 square feet of retail space. Bethesda developer Ken Finkelstein is planning to replace the old Bohager warehouse on Fleet Street and Central Avenue with the new hotel.
Finkelstein's Englewood LLC and Baltimore-based Chesapeake Real Estate Group will manage the hotel project. The developer is planning to start construction in spring 2013 and open the hotel in summer 2014. For the full story, go to Baltimore Business Journal .
