NEW YORK CITY-Investor Ben Ashkenazy has snapped up two upper Manhattan retail properties for $19 million. The acquisition includes the old RKO Hamilton theater site on West 146th Street, adjacent to a three-story retail building at 3560 Broadway.

Ashkenazy purchased both properties as well as an empty parcel on West 147th Street. The other site in the deal was 4168 Broadway, a six-story automobile garage West 177th Street. Massey Knakal Realty Services' Robert Knakal handled the deal for Emmes Properties, the seller. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business .
