RALEIGH, NC-A Toronto-based real estate investment fund has made its first acquisition in the Triangle region. Slate Properties of Toronto has paid $13.1 million for Fuquay Crossing, a Kroger-anchored shopping center in Fuquay-Varina. The company purchased the 14.5-acre property from Regency Centers Corp., a Jacksonville, Florida-based REIT.
The 124,773-square-foot center is located at the junction of Broad Street and Sunset Lake Road. Regency purchased the retail center in 2004 for $14.9 million. For the full story, go to Triangle Business Journal .
