MANCHESTER, UK-The North West Evergreen Fund has provided a GBP 6-million loan to The Carlyle Group and its partners Abstract Securities and Nikal Developments for the Soapworks redevelopment in Salford. The investment will support the second phase of the 400,000-square-foot office redevelopment of the old Colgate-Palmolive factory within Salford Quays' Media City boundary near Manchester.
