AUSTIN, TX-American Campus Communities Inc. has closed on its acquisition of a 19-property student housing portfolio from Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, LP affiliates. The acquisition price was $862.8 million.
The properties are located at Texas Tech University, Kennesaw State University, Michigan State University, Louisiana State University, the University of Louisville, the University of Kentucky, the University of New Hampshire, Rochester Institute of Technology, the University of Southern California, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Virginia Commonwealth University, Wright State University and the University of South Florida.
