COCONUT CREEK, FL-ZOM, a multifamily developer and owner, has acquired 20 acres of land in Coconut Creek for $11.2 million with plans to build an apartment community there. The new garden-style community will come up at 61st Street and State Road 7 and will include 350 apartment units.

Greg West, chief development officer of ZOM, said that construction has already started on the multifamily project. ZOM is developing the project along with a joint venture partner. SunTrust is financing the project. For the full story, go to South Florida Business Journal .
