SAN DIEGO-A New York City investment group has acquired Columbia Center, a 27-story Class A office tower in downtown San Diego. Broadway Lexington LLC, which comprises New York-based Emmes Group of Cos., purchased the 553,715-square-foot office building, located at 401 W. A St., from Los Angeles-based GE Investment Corp.
The building, constructed in 1982, earlier changed hands in 2007 for $181 million. GE Investment was represented by Eastdill Secured LLC, while Broadway Lexington represented itself in the deal. For the full story, go to San Diego Business Journal .
