CHANDLER, AZ-ViaWest Group acquired the 139,800-square-foot Chandler Midway Corporate Center from seller Chandler Midway LP. The Phoenix-based buyer paid $10.1 million for the mixed-use office/office condo project that came online in the late 2000s.

“For ViaWest, the purchase of Chandler Midway Corporate Center presented them with the opportunity to own a newer, Class A office project in the heart of the growing Chandler office submarket,” says Scott Baumgarten with Cassidy Turley Arizona in a press release. Baumgarten collaborated with Cassidy Turley colleagues Tyler Wilson and Mark Stratz to represent the buyer. “The building offered both an established income with an existing lease and the opportunity for adding value through the successful leasing of the remaining space,” he adds.

Chandler Midway Corporate Center, at 5650-5740 W. Chandler Blvd. was built in 2007 and 2008 and consists of two class A, multi-tenant office buildings measuring 55,900 each and approximately 30,000 square feet of office condominiums. The office buildings are 71% occupied (5710 W. Chandler Blvd.) and 100% occupied (5670 W. Chandler Blvd.). The office condominiums are listed as for sale.
