OAKLAND, CA-Westcore Properties has bought The Clorox Company's headquarters building located in downtown Oakland, California, for an undisclosed amount in a sale-leaseback deal. As per the transaction with Westcore, Clorox will continue to lease 57% of the 24-story tower spanning 520,000 square feet at 1221 Broadway for 15 years with a renewal option for another 15 years.
