BEND, OR-Epic Aircraft is planning to expand its operation in the old Cessna manufacturing facility at the Bend Airport. The kit airplane manufacturer, acquired by Engineering LLC in March, has purchased the 204,000-square-foot plant for $3.1 million.
The Cessna manufacturing plant was listed in 2009 at $7 million. It is the second purchase this year for Epic. Compass Commercial Real Estate Services' Robert Raimondi represented the buyer and Colliers International represented the seller in the deal. For the full story, go to Portland Business Journal .
