WICHITA, KS-The Wichita Eagle reported that Real Development has sold the Exchange Place project in downtown Wichita to John McWilliams of Dallas-based Talos Holdings. McWilliams has plans to take up the $65-million Exchange Place project and turn the vacant buildings into 230 apartments.

The property is located at the north corners of Douglas and Market. The project will also include an urban grocery and 225-space parking garage. In 2010, the city promised a $10.3-million tax-increment financing for Exchange Place. For the full story, go to Wichita Business Journal .
