NEW YORK CITY-The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corp. has chosen New York-based Blumenfeld Development Group to convert a portion of the Brooklyn Navy Yard into a commercial space. Blumenfeld will develop the supermarket and retail center measuring 74,000 square feet on Admiral's Row.
The $60-million Navy Yard project faces unique challenges, including the development of manufacturing space measuring nearly 125,000 square feet on the upper floors. Blumenfeld will break ground on the project in 2013. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal .
