MEMPHIS-Nashville-based MNR LLC has purchased the Roberts Benchmark Hotel for $3.2 million from St. Louis-based Roberts Companies. The 120-room hotel, constructed in 1958, was shut down at the end of 2010 when several attempts to refurbish the property stalled.
Roberts Companies purchased the hotel in 2007 for $5 million. The company enlisted Paramount Lodging Advisors of Chicago to market the property. It was seeking $6 million for the hotel. For the full story, go to Memphis Business Journal .
