WINSTON-SALEM, NC-Herbalife Ltd. is preparing to close on the acquisition of the old Dell Inc. plant in Winston-Salem for $22.2 million by the end of this year. The company said that it will set up an East Coast manufacturing hub at the plant, which measures 585,000 square feet.

Herbalife will invest $130 million on the industrial facility, including $22.2 million for the acquisition of the building and remaining will be for upfits and renovations.
