PRINCETON, NJ–Colliers International has arranged a long-term, 14,515-square-foot lease at 150 College Road West for a growing power company, which will relocate its headquarters here from Iselin.
Essential Power Services markets energy, and ancillary services from its portfolio of generation projects in established wholesale electricity markets.
“Essential Power Services is an established New Jersey company that had outgrown its current location and was looking for a property in Princeton,” said Ward Greer, a senior managing director with Colliers in New Jersey, who represented the tenant in the transaction along with Marvin Rosenberg. It needed to double the size of its offices, said Rosenberg.
The building is owned by 100 & 150 College Road West Holdings. Aubrey Haines, of Mercer Oak Realty, represented the landlord in the transaction.
Colliers' Rosenberg noted that 150 College Road West is situated close to downtown Princeton off Route 1, an ideal location for Essential Power to support its central New Jersey operation. The building is one of only a few mixed-use properties along the Route 1 corridor.
A Gallery Café and gym are on site, with additional retail, dining, and hospitality services within walking distance. Other tenants in the complex include Novo Nordisk and Onyx Management Group.
