MIAMI—Multifamily brokerage expert Deme Mekras is taking the helm at Franklin Street's new Miami office. Mekras comes on board as regional managing partner to head the new office.

Mekras brings more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience in the South Florida market to bear on his new role at Franklin Street. He has closed more than $295 million during the span of his career.
