CHICAGO - Friedkin Realty Corp. and Jackson Square Properties bought two Class A garden-style apartment communities in Bloomingdale from LaSalle Investment Management for an undisclosed price.
HHF marketed the properties, Camden at Bloomingdale and Stratford Place, on behalf of the seller, according to a press release. Friedkin and Jackson Square purchased both on a free of existing debt basis. Camden at Bloomingdale, which is about 345,000 square feet, is located at 348 Glenwood Dr., near the intersection of West Schick Rd. and Gary Ave. Stratford Place, which is approximately 317,000 square feet, is located at at 232 Butterfield Dr., about one-half mile southeast of Camden at Bloomingdale. Both complexes were completed in 1991 and have been partially upgraded. They are comprised of one-, two- and three-bedroom units averaging more than 900 square feet.
