LOS ANGELES-One private invest group has paid $13.5 million for a 45-unit apartment complex in the Hollywood Hills, while another has spent more than $10.8 million for a 128-unit building near Downtown.

The Hollywood Hills project stands at 1865 N. Fuller Ave., next to Runyon Canyon Park. It was purchased by Dorchester Properties LLC from South Brockton Properties LLC, both based in Los Angeles.

Hamid Soroudi of Charles Dunn Co. represented both parties in the transaction. Dorchester Properties plans to complete an ambitious renovation program that South Brockton launched last year to upgrade each unit and the building's common areas, he said.

Soroudi also represented the seller, Los Angeles-based Camerford Partners LLC, in the sale of the building near Downtown. It stands at 930 S. Bonnie Brae St.

The seller, locally based 930 S. Bonnie Brae St. LLC, represented itself.
