WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA-National retail giant Target Corp. has purchased a 10.3-acre parcel on the site of Selleck Development Group's upcoming Shoppes at Westlake Village complex here, and plans to build a 139,000-square-foot store that will raise an estimated $1 million annually in local tax revenue for the city's coffers.
The center is rising in the 30800 block of Russell Ranch Rd. Minneapolis, MN-based Target's new store and warehouse will take up about half of the land in the development, which will have a total of 243,000 square feet of rentable space when it opens in the spring of next year.
