WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA-National retail giant TargetCorp. has purchased a 10.3-acre parcel on the site ofSelleck Development Group's upcomingShoppes at Westlake Village complex here, andplans to build a 139,000-square-foot store that will raise anestimated $1 million annually in local tax revenuefor the city's coffers.
The center is rising in the 30800 block of Russell RanchRd. Minneapolis, MN-based Target's new store and warehousewill take up about half of the land in the development, which willhave a total of 243,000 square feet of rentable space when it opensin the spring of next year.
