CHICAGO—CBRE says David Egan has joined CBRE Chicago as Director of Research and Analysis.

The company it is expanding and deepening its research and analysis platform to enhance mining the firm's proprietary “big data” resource accumulated over many decades of tracking, documenting and analyzing real estate markets globally. Egan's role and expertise will help launch this effort to uncover even more emerging market trends, patterns and opportunities that will offer a competitive advantage to our clients.

In that new role, Egan will work closely with Michelle Principe, Manager of Research Operations, and Catherine Olbrisch, Senior Research Analyst, to focus on expanding the Chicago Research team's insight generation and market intelligence in a way that helps guide real estate strategies, identifies risks and validates decision making. This will strengthen CBRE's market-leading research and commitment to superior client service.

He brings 10 years of experience in real estate valuation, acquisitions and dispositions from time spent as Manager of Transaction Real Estate at Ernst & Young and as an Investment Sales Broker at Colliers International where he specialized in the marketing and sale of large institutional, industrial and office portfolios.
