MIAMI—Despite retail getting hotter in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, the competition to rep the hottest retail brands is still fierce. Continental Real Estate Companies, or CREC, just won the confidence of three major national and regional retail brands.

CREC is representing several Jimmy John's franchise groups, has an assignment with Hair Cuttery in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, and is representing national restaurant chain BGR The Burger Joint as it enters the Broward County market. CREC senior vice president Sabrina Meerbott and senior leasing associate Chris Barney are managing the tenant representation assignments.

“While their concepts are entirely different, Jimmy John's, Hair Cuttery, and BGR The Burger Joint are all pursuing a steady expansion with similar criteria in the Miami-Dade and Broward markets,” says Meerbott. “All three retailers are seeking high-traffic spaces in areas benefiting from large employment bases and stable residential populations. Locations in grocery-anchored shopping centers are an added bonus.”
