LEWISVILLE, TX-Essilor of America, a manufacturer of optical lenses, has leased a 169,476-square-foot industrial building known as Waters Ridge II, for its new distribution center, says the Dallas Business Journal. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.

With the single-tenant building in close proximity to Essilor's Dallas headquarters and with the ability for the company to take immediate occupancy, it was an ideal property to locate the distribution center, said Michael De La Vega, vice president of real estate with Essilor.

Jean Russo of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. represented Essilor in its real estate search. Curt Hefner of Duke Realty represented the landlord. Essilor plans to move into the climate-controlled building by the end of January.
