KELLER, TX—New homes are in the works for a parcel of land recently sold by a local foster care center to Hanover Property Co., a Dallas developer.

Hanover plans to put single-family homes on the property, according to the Dallas Business Journal.

Christ's Haven for Children sold 96 acres to Hanover last month. The land runs from Keller-Haslet Road on the north and Park Vista on the east and contains 22 acres south of Timberland Boulevard.

Christ's Haven provides foster care for infants to young adults. An official with Christ's Haven told the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram that the center was approached by two developers about 18 months ago.
