MOORPARK, CA—Nadel Architects has completed a façade re-design for Moorpark Town Center, an existing, 140,000-square-foot shopping center here. The renovation adds articulation and enhancement to the exterior façade of the 1985-built center, resulting in a more appealing destination for local shoppers. Owned by Sunbelt Enterprises LLC., construction is scheduled to begin in late winter or early spring of 2013.

Located at the northwest corner of Los Angeles Avenue and Moorpark Avenue, the Ralphs and CVS-anchored center also consists of four in-line shop buildings and four pad buildings. Additional tenants include Taco Bell, The Grinder Restaurant and Chase Bank, among others.

Nadel, the full service architect for the project from concept design through construction administration, completely redesigned the exterior façade with a more articulated Mediterranean theme, which incorporates open trellises, large cornice detailing, stone veneers, intricate tiling and bold colors.
