MARLTON, NJ-The Cherry Hill-based real estate firm Markeim-Chalmers has arranged three long-term medical lease deals for the Rothman Institute building in Marlton, NJ.
The Rothman Institute occupies half of the 70,000-square-foot building at 999 Route 73 with its orthopedics and related practice areas. New tenants joining them include The Heart House cardiology practice (6,500 square feet), Able Imaging (5,500 square feet) and the Tao Institute (2,500 square feet).
Scott Martin, vice-president at Markeim-Chalmers, represented all three tenants and the Rothman Institute, which is the landlord. The company also represented Rothman in buying the building in 2011. The practice opened at the Marlton office in March 2012.
Markeim-Chalmers is a full-service commercial real estate firm led by Fred S. Berlinsky. Founded in 1922, the company is one of the largest commercial real estate and property management firms in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area.
The company handles sale and development of commercial land, acquisitions, appraisals and investments, in addition to property management.
The Rothman Institute operates from 15 locations in Pennsylvania, and has seven offices in southern New Jersey.
