DENVER—The new owner of the former St. Anthony's Hospital is said to have paid $9.5 million to Catholic Health Initiatives Colorado, for the 18 acre-plus site.

Two weeks ago, Denver-based EnviroFinance Group announced it had purchased the hospital campus next to Sloan's Lake in northwest Denver, but neither the seller nor buyer disclosed the purchase price.

Inside Real Estate News says that a warranty deed filed with the City indicates a sales price at $9.5 million. That purchase price would be close to $11.86 per square foot, the website noted.

EnivroFinance Group, created an entity called EFT-South Sloan's Lake I LLC to buy the land, which will be redeveloped into a large urban, residential and retail community.

The developer plans clear the site in the most sustainable way possible, which will including recycling and reusing much of the building material generated by the demolition.
