CHICAGO - The Missner Group has broken ground for a new three-story 41,000 square foot medical office building at 2923 N. California Ave. for the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute.

Construction is scheduled to be completed in August. The new building will feature a covered parking structure as well as steel and masonry construction. The facility will include private offices; meeting and conference rooms; medical exam rooms; MRI, CT scanning and X-ray suites; and medical storage space. Glen Missner is the executive overseeing the project, Drue Stoehr is the senior project manager and George Bellock will serve as the site superintendent. Stephen Rankin & Associates is providing the architectural services. Illinois Bone & Joint specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system in the Chicago metropolitan area. The Missner Group, headquartered in Skokie, IL, provides real estate development and construction services throughout Chicago and the Midwest.
