LANCASTER, TX—City officials say that New Jersey-based BMW of North America LLC has chosen Lancaster for its newest parts distribution facility.
The site selection was the result of BMW searching the North Texas market for several months, says the Dallas Business Journal.
The roughly 300,000-square-foot facility will be constructed in the ProLogis 20/35 Park at Danieldale Road near Interstate 20.
Construction should begin soon, and the distribution center is expected to open by the end of the year, city officials conveyed to the Journal.
