DALLAS-Medical City Dallas Hospital, and Medical City Children's Hospital are planning a $114 million expansion.

The plan includes constructing four new floors in the E Tower, as well as expanding another floor in the same building, the Dallas Business Journal reported today.

Extensive renovations in other buildings will expand the oncology and stem cell treatment units and renovate operating rooms. The project is triggered by increasing demand for critical care, oncology, transplant, surgical and emergency services, a spokesperson told the Journal.
