IRVINE, CA-GlobeSt.com has learned exclusively that Brian Prock has joined the Orange County office of Jones Lang LaSalle to lead the local project and development services division. Prock, a SVP with the firm, will spearhead efforts to provide tenant and institutional landlord clients with a variety of project-management services, from due diligence and design to construction and relocation oversight.
Prior to joining JLL, Prock was the senior manager of real estate services for CareMore Medical Enterprises, where he developed facility programming design, construction and specification standards for the expansion of local and out-of-state medical clinics and championed the organization and implementation of web-based lease data management software to track CareMore's growing lease portfolio.
“Increasingly, tenants and landlords are looking to third-party providers for project-management services so they can focus on their core business,” said Prock in a prepared statement. He added that JLL is a client-focused firm, “providing knowledge, specialist skills land a comprehensive array of services that meet the needs of all business sectors.”
As GlobeSt.com previously reported, the fourth quarter of 2012 saw a great deal of uncertainty related to global economic challenges, according to Marisha Clinton, director of research at Jones Lang LaSalle Capital Markets. However, she says, clarity appears to have arrived in the final days, sparking investors to close deals before year-end. In fact, investor activity for all property types propelled preliminary volume estimates to their highest level in five years.
