MIAMI—Cushman & Wakefield has been pretty quiet in recent months, but that may be about to change. CushWake brought in Paul Waters, a commercial real estate industry veteran, to lead its South Florida operations.

As senior managing director and market leader of the firm's South Florida offices, which include Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach, Waters is hitting the ground running with a new vision. Still, he tells GlobeSt.com in an exclusive interview, the strategic plan remains focused on people and business: recruiting and retaining and building culture of collaboration, optimism and pride.
