DENVER—A liquidation sale of Denver's famed Burnsley All Suite Hotel starts Thursday.
Everything will be auctioned, from televisions to beds, after the hotel was sold to Red Peak Properties LLC in December, says the Denver Business Journal.
The 80-room hotel, closed its doors Dec. 12 and the sale was completed the following day.
NCL/National Content Liquidators of Springboro, OH, is running the sale.
The sale will run for three weeks at the hotel site. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekedays and Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
“These sales are actually very busy the very first week,” NCL President Don Hayes told the paper. “But it may seem even busier because this is just an 80-room hotel. It's a very small building, so we're limiting the amount of people who can come in to keep the sale safe.”
The Burnsley,1000 Grant St., was built in 1963 as an apartment house, and soon after was converted into a hotel that featured a popular jazz club. At one time it was known as the Hampshire House.
