SAN FRANCISCO-We recently wrote that Ryan Brandenburg and Christopher Errecart joined Cresa to provide tenant representation services to clients throughout the Silicon Valley and Bay Area, and now the firm has hired Jamie Saunders as managing principal in the San Francisco office.

Saunders was formerly a VP at Jones Lang LaSalle in San Francisco. At JLL, Saunders was one of the founders of the Technology/High Growth Practice Group, working with Bay Area-based venture-backed companies.

In his new role, he will head the firm's Downtown Market Group and work with Cresa's other managing principals, Craig Zodikoff in Cresa San Francisco and Matthew Elmquist and Scott Stone in Cresa's affiliated office in the East Bay, which recently moved to Emeryville.

He will focus on business development and staff recruitment to support the growth of Cresa in the Bay Area, where it is the largest corporate real estate advisory firm specializing in tenant representation.

Saunders has 11 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to JLL, he served as a sales associate for NAI BT Commercial in San Francisco, where he was one of the founders of its Tenant Solutions Group.

“This is an exciting time for real estate in the Bay Area, and there are great opportunities for Cresa to further its leadership in tenant representation,” says Saunders.

California offices of Cresa include San Francisco, East Bay, San Jose, Palo Alto, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Woodland Hills, Orange County, Ontario, and San Diego.
