Avison Young announced it recently represented Focus Financial Partners, LLC in an office lease to occupy a full floor—totaling 11,923 square feet–at 825 Third Ave. The brokerage firm's Greg Kraut, principal and managing director did the deal along with Dana Trulis, VP, and Paul Massey, associate. Focus is relocating from a 7,400 square foot space at 909 Third Ave. The landlord at 825 Third, the Durst Organization, was represented by CBRE's Greg Tosko, vice chairman, David Hollander, EVP and Jason Frazier, VP.
RKF has arranged four separate Manhattan leases on behalf of Off The Wall Frozen Yogurt. The four stores locations are 4 W. 14th St. in Union Square, 248 West 23rd Street in Chelsea, 1053 Second Ave. in Midtown East and, most recently, 11 Times Square, representing a total of 9,400 square feet of retail space. RKF's Vice Joshua Strauss, president and Zach Winkler, director, exclusively represented the fro yo chain. The landlords for the Chelsea, Times Square, Union Square, and Midtown East properties are Chelsea Fudosan, Ltd., SJP Properties, Ozymandius Realty, and Buchbinder Warren, respectively. Michael Worthman, director of leasing at Thor Equities, assisted on the Second Avenue deal. RKF also represented SJP Properties in the 11 Times Square lease. There were no other landlord representatives in these deals.
Colliers International has arranged a seven-year, 7,600-square-foot renewal at 245 W. 29th St. on behalf of Manhattan Wardrobe Supply Inc., a retail store that predominantly serves Manhattan's theater community. Colliers' Perry Mesmer, executive managing director,represented the tenant. The landlord, 245 W 29 LLC, was represented in the transaction by Michael Moorin, senior managing director, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
Carter's, the apparel retailer for children, has signed a lease for a location in Queens. It is renting a 4,000-square-foot space at Sky View Center in Flushing. Onex Real Estate Partners is the owner and developer of the Sky View Center. Linda Miller , principal, LM Global Retail Partners represented Onex, while Josh Podell, principal, Podell Real Estate represented Carter's.
Rosenbaum & Rosenbaum, P.C., a personal injury law firm, has signed a new lease at 100 Wall Street,occupying approximately 3,822 square feet for a five-year term. Mitchell Konsker, vice chairman, Scott Cahaly, SVP and Brian Reiver, VPof Jones Lang LaSalle represented the landlord, an affiliate of Savanna, while Gabriel Whitman, associate of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in this transaction.
The Handler Real Estate Organization has arranged a five-year, 2,205-square-foot lease at 341 W. 38th St. for the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Foundation, which is relocating from Akron, Ohio. Peter Newman, executive managing director, and Rosanne Lucarelli, sales associate at Handler, represented the tenant in the transaction. Ian Weiss, director, ABS Partners, represented the landlord, Central Properties.
